Montblanc looks a little surprised even at the thought, shaking his head vigorously. "Oh, no, of course not, kupo. The judges are here to stop all that, you know. Nobody actually dies in silly little engagements anymore -- what would be the point of that?"
Marche looks uneasily down at his sword, thoughtful. "So... they're going to be okay as soon as someone uses a phoenix tail on them?"
"Of course, kupo. In less civilised times, I suppose people really did die in engagements. But not here."
