The first time she heard Celes sing, Terra was surprised. She's long given up on being surprised -- whether at the beauty of Celes' voice when she sings, or at the surprising passion and joy in the songs, or the sorrow. Or at anything else Celes does. She's infinitely ready for whatever may come, like singing in the opera Locke told her about (because of course she wasn't there -- she was caught up in trying to accept herself).
Terra almost envies that in her now she understands it; except that it seems like Celes could be a carefully crafted tool.
