He tried it at first -- a little -- with Rydia, but she seemed to see right through it all and look on it with some contempt, so he tried being himself, showing off the truth of his insides.
She smiled on him more after that -- once her hand brushed over his and just for a second she held his hand and squeezed, and then she let go, but she approved and that was wonderful.
