There are some things that are considered sinful, but Edge is quite oblivious to them, most notably when it comes to Rydia. She's sweet and pretty and sharp and bright, and everything he could really want in a girl, and Gramps and sin and whatever else be damned, he wants her.
At first it's just a little spark -- a seed -- but it grows -- blossoms -- want turns into need and he thinks of her every minute of every day, sat in the throne in Eblan, laying in his bed too far from her.
He dreams of her every night.
