In the morning's light the lovebite on her neck blossoms bright against pale skin, and Edge is both amused and horrified, running his fingers over that possessive mark on her neck. He's reluctant to admit that it's a longing for people to know about them that prompts his possessive marks and bites, because her eyes flash in annoyance as she dabs a potion over the spot and tugs her collar up to help conceal it.
Before she leaves, he leans in to kiss the spot, lips tingling with the magic of the potion.
She does smile a bit, then, rolling her eyes.
