Edge can be very undependable at times. For example, when a pretty thing in a skirt walks by, and sometimes when the pretty thing isn't wearing a skirt for now, and occassionally when the pretty thing isn't of the right sex to wear a skirt in general.
But Rydia generally gets him to do what she wants with a fairly reliable success rate. Mainly because the others might be pretty but it's her he loves, and it's her that he's trying to charm into marrying him, between bouts of being forbidden to talk to girls by Gramps.
He's a good boy, really.
