There was a pink sky 'cause of the sunrise and it was all really kinda nice, especially with Seifer's arm wrapped around me -- not too tight, but that nice kinda tight, very there -- and Seifer's chest against my back. He'd shut up for once, and he was just there -- like his hold -- warm and comfortable and breathing.

That was fine with me. It was better when he was breathing. For obvious reasons. The one time he'd stopped breathing, I nearly killed him.

"S'gonna be bad weather today," he said, finally, like it mattered.

But what mattered was his breathing.
