Alcohol really does tamper with a man's judgement. But still, any man, whether drunk or sober, would've agreed that Rydia looked pretty. Beautiful, even. And untouchable, dancing with Cecil and then with Rosa, and with not even a glance for him. Granted, he was drunk, and he'd no doubt have trodden on her toes, but still. After all, it was her fault that he was sat there with a drink getting increasingly hammered.

Kain was amused.

But then, Kain would be. Such an asshole. He didn't know what it was like to be rejected, except well maybe he did, but...

Haha. If Kain weren't busy being all reserved and "I sit on the mountain and sulk," he'd totally be poking at Edge and saying "Now you know how I feel!"
