Summary: Corin never married because the opportunity never came along. For fic_on_demand.

Corin didn't marry because he never really found anything exactly right. There was Cor's relationship, all love and hate and anger and arguing and making up in private and appearing glowing and happy again the next day. Aravis was all right, but she was Cor's and there was no one quite like her anyway, even if he'd liked her that much.

And Edmund seemed to do just fine without love, anyway. He had his brother and his sisters, and he told Corin when he asked about it that two kings and two queens was quite enough anyway without him getting married, and that he'd never found anyone he particularly liked.

So, between Cor's apparent contentment with love and Edmund's apathy towards it, Corin found himself deciding to just wait and see what happened.

And nothing ever happened.

And that was fine.
