Edge annoys Rydia, the way he comes to her with a potion like her mother did whenever she did something as simple as graze her knee. She hates the way he looks at her, tenderness and teasing and things she's not ready for. But she lets him put the potion on for her -- his fingers lingering over a cut on her cheek, his hands firm in massaging the potion into an injured leg. He's a flirt and he smiles too much and she likes him, hopelessly drawn to him without common sense involved. She both loves and hates it.
