Edge huffs softly, crossing his arms in front of himself and trying for a hurt expression, which Rydia ignores. "Would I lie to you? Of course I love you."
"It's just, I've heard that you were flirting with someone else just last night. A kitchen maid? And with one of your guards the night before."
"Ummm..."
"I don't care who you flirt with, if we're going to stay as we are. But if you want to sweep me off my feet, you'll stop flirting with everyone else."
Edge winced a little at the idea of that sacrifice. "I guess."
"Promise?"
He sighed. "Promise."
