Summary: Rikku stargazes and Wakka ponders. For rikkuxwakka.


Flopped on her back looking up at the stars, Rikku looks like a star herself, almost, in shape, her body all spread-eagled and relaxed across the ground. He's tempted to poke her from her rapt reverie, but she looks kinda peaceful and he knows he'd be pissed if anyone interrupted any peace he manages to find on this Yevon damned Pilgrimage. Everything seems to be going wrong -- the religion tatters like bright fragile streamers in their path, and he wonders if it's Rikku's fault -- an Al Bhed heathen's presence corrupting it.

Or maybe it's just his damn bad luck.

Poor Wakka, the nails of clues slowly driving into his Yevon-hardened skull with slow painful raps. You evoked the problem beautifully. :)
