"Loz is crying again."
Kadaj barely even turned. "So comfort him."
Yazoo crossed his arms in front of his chest, waiting in silence for Kadaj to look at him, determined not to go or lose his temper. Finally, Kadaj turned and gave him an impatient look.
"He wants us both."
"I'm busy."
"You're running."
"From what?"
"Us."
Kadaj spun round, gripping Yazoo's arm hard. Yazoo didn't even flinch. "I'm not running!"
"You are."
Yazoo stayed calm, staring at Kadaj. Normally, he would give in immediately to anything Kadaj wanted, but not now. Not when Loz was crying. Finally, Kadaj huffed, flipping his hair out of his face.
"Fine. I'm coming."
