"I think it might've been, Seifer."

"Are you doubting me, chickie?"

"Usually I would, but in this case, it's Squall I'm doubting, not you. I've only ever seen him smile a few times and that was always in the presence of a sorceress."

"Perhaps the smile is related to sorcery, then. Hey, you're enough of a girl to be a sorc -- "

"Seifer!"

"What?"

"Don't ever call me a girl. I can kick your ass anytime."

"Sure you can, chickie, in -- "

"Would you two just shut up?"

"Yes, mister puberty boy sir."

"Seifer..."

I love writing dialogue only fics. :) I used to think it was a cop out, but it's really not. Character is harder to bring across, detailed description is impossible, and a thousand other difficulties -- like making it any length at all. xD;
