Summary: Rydia, frightened. For mount_ordeals.


Rydia acts so tough. Cool and confident and ever so on top of things, never quite smiling but never betraying an instant of panic. It's almost gratifying for him to be the one that catches her afraid, a flicker of hopelessness across her face, but he doesn't dwell on it. No, instead he throws himself into battle, to drown the sight of her fearful face and give her time to get back on her feet.

It only takes a few more moments and then she's up, ready, her eyes bright and fierce and her magic fuelled by anger at her fear.

Mmmm. Nice :) I like how Rydia is angry at her own fear and how Edge throws himself into battle to forget her fear. Very nice. ♥

I did, I'm sorry, I was multitasking at the time so I was not commenting on everything I saw. I like it; I can see Simon and Squall getting along, actually. And Simon would be a great Garden medic. Once he got used to that whole magic thing.

I'm so thinking of having them go into a battle situation and having Simon freeze up because whoa fighting-GFs-magic and feeling all guilty afterwards. But we'll see.
