Summary: Coming home to a wreck.
It's Freya's home and yet it isn't, half destroyed and empty now and nothing like her dreams. Her home was half in the people as in the streets and the streets are unfamiliar with the lack, even though the rain is the same and the stones are the same.
The smell is different, too, blood and smoke and death, until she feels sick with the taste stuck at the back of her throat.
Zidane is supportive, quiet for once and grim. She'd like to thank him for his offers of help, but she hasn't the words, so she just carries on walking.
