He's everything she wants, so sometimes she just has to reach out and touch, even before Macalania Lake and the sparkling beauty of it all and all the feelings they shared in silence. Touching is easier to believe than sight or sound or smell or taste. It's real, no matter what her eyes tell her.
When she goes right through him it hurts more than anything, because more than the sight of him fading or the sound of his voice telling her he's going, that's proof. He's leaving, the one sacrifice she wouldn't, couldn't make.
She just wants to feel him again.
