She's dizzy. Her eyes hurt and everything hurts. She feels kind of heavy. She can hear someone saying her name -- "Rydia? Rydia!" -- but she can't quite form a response. It might be nice to lay down and sleep off the blur on the world.

"Rydia, are you okay?"

Okay? No. Yes. Just fine.

Someone made her swallow something that was like swallowing a cure spell. Tingly and magic in her throat. She blinked and the world -- and Edge's face -- swam into focus.

"...Edge?"

"I'm here," he breathed, relieved beyond words. "Don't die on me. We have a long way to go."
