Summary: He doesn't deserve it but he won't deny it. For mount_ordeals.


It's a little strange, come to think of it, if he ever bothers coming to think about it; the three of them, Rosa and Cecil and Kain. Rosa and Cecil are married, everyone's eyes are on them, and yet they still have room in their bed and space in their hearts for him.

He's sure he doesn't deserve it. He doesn't deserve the softness of Rosa's mouth or the eager press of Cecil's body against his, but he's learnt to take what's freely given, now.

He never thought he could be happy in such a union, but he's dizzy with it, now.

I like how you weave Kain's isolation and "I don't deserve this" into something that's essentially about togetherness and sharing. The contrast works very well.
