Barret hates people who are half-dedicated to the cause. Tifa is dedicated to Avalanche, really. But she mops the bar with a rag and smiles at Marlene and all the time she's thinking that she hates herself for persuading Cloud to help.
It's not like he really cares about the Planet, after all. At least, he doesn't seem to. It was just her words that persuaded him.
That's not right, she thinks. Die for your own cause, don't make others do it.
She'll go with him next time. If necessary, she'll make sure he doesn't sacrifice for the cause he doesn't believe in.
