Vivi trips and falls again.
Zidane's there almost before he hits the ground, grabbing the back of his coat and hauling him back up. "You okay? Y'need to be more careful. Watch your step -- you know. Sounds easy, but it's hard as hell when you're small. Little things trip you up easy."
Vivi is glad for Zidane's support, his chattering, because he's never quite sure what to say to him. He grips the rim of his hat and squirms and something inside him flutters a little at Zidane's cheerful grin.
"'m okay," he half whispers, and Zidane's cheerful 'good' warms his heart.
