Zell doesn't like chocobos.
Or he doesn't like riding them, anyway. He gets on well enough with them the rest of the time. He pets them, they peck him, they seem to accept him as one of their own.
(Seifer privately thinks that's because of the hairdo, but he's stopped bothering to tease Zell about such an easy target.)
This chocobo, however, seems to have borrowed some personality from Seifer. It stares at Zell rather disconcertingly as he pets its feathery head and eyes the saddle.
"You don't mind, right?" he asks, nervously.
It doesn't answer, of course.
It throws him the minute he gets on.
