Once Gippal has gone again, it's easier, though Baralai thinks of Gippal constantly and maybe he gets a little teary when he thinks about Gippal and being in love and cuddling and all of that, but even if he does, he wouldn't admit it. Not even to Gippal, who he trusts with everything now.
He knows the rest of the temple is happier with Gippal gone, so he tries to go on without being too mopey for a while, but he's gotten far too used to Gippal being there. It's easier to resist him, of course, but harder in some ways too.
So, okay, he's pining. Just a little.
