He pauses at her door, just to check in on her, and has to pause just to see her all tangled in her covers, flushed and hot, like she's in a fever. He'd cross the room to check her temperature, but he doesn't trust himself then not to kiss her, and even if he'd never do anything more, she might get the wrong idea.
He listens to her dreaming, her soft sounds and quick breathing.
It dawns on him what she's been dreaming about when she calls his name into the night. He blushes and leaves, but he'll dream of it too.
