People think that I never shut up. Well, they're wrong. I know I do talk a lot, and not all of it makes any sense and hardly any of it is really useful, according to Quistis, but I don't talk constantly. I don't talk in my sleep, for one thing, and mostly I don't talk with my mouth full, unless I'm really excited and, well, yeah, here I go again.
My point is, I'm not always loud. I mean, I'm best friends with Squall. The guy's as silent as the grave ninety percent of the time, y'know? He wouldn't appreciate it if I babbled too much at him.
Well, mostly, I do, but he seems to tolerate that. He sort of does that weird thing that isn't a smile but if he was anyone else it would be, and nods, and maybe even puts his own opinion in now and then.
Yeah, Squall has opinions. Duh.
Anyway, sometimes he doesn't want me to talk, and that's okay. Then I just shut up and we sorta sit in silence, and that's actually nice, y'know? To have someone I can just be quiet with.
