Kissing Rosa is like praying.
That makes no sense, not even to herself, but Rydia keeps thinking it anyway. Rosa is so good and kind and by kissing her it's like Rydia can almost touch that perfection, touch whatever up above there makes Rosa so good.
(Of course, Rosa isn't all that good, perhaps evidenced by the way she's kissing Rydia and in love with Cecil, but Rydia won't see that.)
Rosa tastes of white magic, cool and soothing and smooth, and her touches are like the tingles of curative magic, and a smile from her is like a Life spell; it saves.
