It's a beautiful day, and Rydia is radiant. Porom brought her flowers, and Palom made jokes he didn't quite understand to Edge, who found it all the more funny because he was nervous to the point of giggling. Now, though, he's under control, thanks to Cecil's amused support, and Kain's grumpier company.
Rydia, however, is now nervous.
She doesn't really understand why, because Edge is madly in love with her and he'd never run away, because he has a whole bunch of reasons, like dignity and pride, not to.
The nervousness melts away when she sees him there, when her eyes meet his.
