Squall doesn't move. His eyes lock with Seifer's and behind all the magic wrapped around him, Seifer seethes. Ultimecia seems pleased by his anger, and she taunts him with it, until even without her terrible purpose controlling him he's angry.
Squall should be looking after Rinny. He should throw all caution to the wind and kneel down and cradle Rinny in his arms.
So it's for Rinny Seifer fights, not just for Ultimecia, but for poor Rinny with her dreams and plans and naïve hopes, because Squall is a cold hearted asshole who could never be good enough for her.
