He's in her bed, and it's weird, because it happened all so sudden. First she was all on her own, only not, because she had Lulu and Wakka and everyone in Besaid. And then he came, just fell into her life like a star from the sky, and she felt alone at the very idea of him being gone. And then he went and disappeared on her, gone so sudden, didn't even tell her what he, she, both of them were giving up to gain.
And now he's back, all of a sudden, with barely any warning. She wonders if it's always going to be like that, him leaving and coming back and leaving and coming back. It scares her, because two years without him dragged and two months with him have simply flown.
She likes watching him sleep, though. He snores. She thought it would annoy her more, but there was something comforting about snuggling up to him and listening to the soft rumble of his snores.
And he's hell to get out of bed on a morning.
Not that they do much of that, not too early, anyway.
"Thinkin' too much again?" he asks her, and his hand runs up her back. He's not wearing his gloves, of course, and she's not wearing anything, so his hand up her back is like a warm trail of fire. She shivers a little and lies down, cuddling up against him.
"Don't leave me again."
"I won't. I don't want to."
"Don't leave," she says again, and then, "Are you really, really real?"
He's not so sure half the time, he was a dream and then he was almost real and then he was nothing and now he is real all over again, really real this time, or so he hopes. It seems too good to be true, really, but he doesn't say that.
He takes her into his arms and shows her how real and alive he really is.

I don't like TidusxYuna, but this is cute :)
