He shrugs, putting the sword away carefully. He doesn't meet her eyes and she bites her lip. She's so bad with him. All she knows how to do is snip and snipe and reply with sarcastic comments. He doesn't seem to mind, but still, she'd prefer... she'd prefer to be more like the other girls she's seen him with. Girls who remember how to laugh even despite the war.
"My dad used to do it. I didn't get into it until he was dead."
"I'm sorry."
"About what?"
She shrugs slightly and he grins. "Don't be sorry. He had a decent death -- before the Phantoms. Say... know anything about fencing?"
"Me?"
"Do you see anyone else?"
