Heero wrapped his arms around Trowa from behind, kissing the back of his neck more tenderly than he'd ever thought he could. "What're you looking at?"
Trowa lifted one shoulder in a slight shrug. "The sunset."
"Getting all romantic on me?" he teased gently. Trowa kept his eyes on the setting sun, smiling a little, wondering if anyone could ever have predicted how easily Heero would become... normal. He hadn't predicted it, either.
"Maybe."
They stayed like that for a while, until the darkness had crept up on them. Then Trowa turned and pulled Heero close and kissed him, right there in the open.
