It's a bit of a shock. Gippal saying he loves him and all. And he takes a moment to process it.
And gets up and walks to Gippal and puts his arms around him and sighs happily. And kisses him, not a really thoroughly chaste kiss, if he wants to be honest with himself, a deep kiss, a nice kiss. And he hmms softly and nips at Gippal's jaw and tries to remember how many days left.
He's surprised when he's the one who says it. "I could break this vow thing, and no one would know."
He'd hate to do it, truthfully, but he could do it, and he tempts himself with the thought for a while, even though he'd feel so guilty if he did. And he rests his head against Gippal's shoulder, and thinks that Gippal will probably jump at this chance to get him to break his vow and, well, he can't say he cares too much, not right now. Later, maybe.
