Baralai huffs softly, but he doesn't know what to say and Gippal knows it, because he does love Gippal and he's not sure if he knows it but he probably sure as anything suspects it. He reaches to run his fingers through Gippal's hair and sighs because if he was the hating kind of person he'd hate the vow he's taken already and it hasn't been long.
"I've been... busy. I'm sorry."
He hasn't been fair, and he knows it, but he knew Gippal wouldn't like the whole vow of chastity idea, and though he didn't have to do it, it's nice to keep up a few traditions.
He offers an apologetic smile. "We can talk now, since you're here, though."
