Pairing: Seifer/Squall

Rating: PG
Summary: Making up. Timeline here.
Squall lay all sprawled out beneath him, his hair in his face. Seifer smiled a little, almost tenderly, reaching up to brush it out of the way. Squall sighed and Seifer shifted, pulling out of him and laying beside him, pulling him into his arms. He didn't ask if Squall was going to be able to stick around. He wasn't planning to give him the chance.
"I should go back to my office," Squall said, softly, but he didn't make a move. He shifted closer to Seifer after a minute, and Seifer tightened his arms around him, not saying anything for a moment.
"You're not going anywhere."
"Seifer..."
"Not for a few hours, at least." Seifer pushed up a little, looking down at Squall, at his tireder-than-tired face. "You can stay in bed for a while and get some sleep. If you go back to your office now, you'll only fall asleep right there. And then you'll be all bitchy because it's not comfortable."
"Whatever," Squall mumbled, but he smiled a bit at what Seifer had said.
It was, after all, the truth.
"That was some damn good make-up sex," Seifer said, snorting softly.
"Yeah," Squall agreed, cuddling a little bit closer. Neither of them said anything for a while after that, until Squall thought Seifer was asleep. He sighed softly and curled himself up closer to him, feeling the warmth of his skin. He was always warm. Warmer than anyone Squall'd ever known, like a personal heater. He'd missed sleeping there beside Seifer, with Seifer's body heat to keep him warm all night.
Seifer's voice made him jump. "I do love you, you know."
"I know," Squall said softly, and sighed again.
