I'm a frequent lurker around your writings, but I wanted to come out from behind the bush and commend you on recalling the torture scene. I think it would be a trigger, and I doubt Squall would be so willing to just jump into being restrained, as many authors have him do. I like that you made Seifer mindful of that. His warmth is there, but he's masking it at the same time.
