"You should be the last person to say that," Sora says, but his voice is light, teasing. "I don't get what's so weird about it anyway. We like each other a lot, all three of us, so why don't we just try it?"
"I'm in," Kairi says, with a smile that might be a little sly. Riku narrows his eyes.
"You're practically daring me to say yes, you know."
"That's the idea," Sora admits. He glances sidelong at Riku. "Come on, is it really such a horrible idea?"
Riku snorts softly. "No. But -- "
Kairi puts her hands on her hips. "No more buts, mister."
"Yeah, no more buts." Sora smiles at him in that way that's never failed to get him what he wants, and Riku throws his hands in the air.
"You pair are taking shameless advantage of me, you know," he says.
They exchange a mischievous look. "Sounds like a very good idea," Sora says, and then Riku's being kissed -- with enthusiasm, if not finesse, and Sora's fingers are tangled in his hair, and maybe it's weird, but it's brilliant too.
