It'd probably been a stupid idea. Kissing Lulu right there and then, anyway -- maybe not kissing Lulu in general, because she didn't seem to mind too much and in fact was kissing back, her hand on Rikku's shoulder as if to keep her there. She kissed confidently -- no surprises there -- and tasted surprisingly sweet, and it made butterflies worse than ever in Rikku's stomach, and made her crazy to touch, to explore, to do more with this sudden new thing.
The problem was Tidus, who she just knew was staring at them.
It was no surprise that Lulu had something to say on the matter, though. Her tone was poisonously sweet. "Didn't you ever see two women kissing, in Zanarkand?"
Tidus shut his mouth and removed himself from their immediate vicinity with amazing speed.
