The great things about the weeks after that were the small things. Squall was mine, all mine, and then there was Zell, too, hooked like a little fish. I didn't admit it to myself, but I knew, and I was teasing him, all the time. Little touches. Teasingly kissing his cheek -- just a joke, as far as either of the other two knew.
And I saw the little touches between Zell and Squall.
Zell was always a touchy-feely kinda guy, so Squall barely noticed. But I did. Just little touches.
And I was okay with that.
