To see them, when they finally saw each other again, you'd think they didn't care. Squall barely glanced at Seifer, and Seifer smirked and made snide comments and mostly concentrated on his fishing, determined not to be beaten by Raijin.
If you thought that they didn't care, of course, you'd have missed the brief first look between them, and the tiny smile on Squall's face.
And you'd have had to ignore the way both of them mysteriously ended up in a small coffee shop on the other side of town, exactly an hour later, sat at the same table. Smiling.
