ff_threesomes.
"Which of them are you gonna date?"
Kairi blinked and looked up at Selphie. "What?"
"Riku and Sora, of course! You know, the boys you've been staring at all day," Selphie said, elbowing her. "Geez, you can be so slow sometimes, Kairi. I was asking which of them you're planning to date!"
For a moment, Kairi looked slightly confused. Then she smiled. "Oh, I don't know, which would you choose?"
Selphie made a face, pausing for thought. "Weeeeell, I don't know if I could. Sora's cute, but Riku's got that... what would you call it? Mystery. He'd be very interesting, I think."
"What about you?" Kairi asked, nudging Selphie gently. "Tidus or Wakka?"
"Mm, that's not fair, I really can't choose!" She grinned. "They're each as hopeless as the other."
"Maybe it's better not to choose," Kairi said, softly. She stood up, brushing sand from her skirt. "Having favourites isn't fair, after all."
Selphie blinked. Kairi smiled at her, then turned and ran down to the beach where Riku and Sora were sparring.
