The first time they all saw each other, they almost felt a 'click'. It was as if their gazes all locked together in the middle, like lines of destiny. Nooj knew it was crazy and turned to look away, though he wasn't surprised when they ended up as a group. Baralai looked at Gippal, so obviously Al Bhed, feeling troubled. Paine felt a leap of excitement, but tried not to show a thing. Gippal grinned; he believed in destiny, and he believed he was going to have a lot of fun.
They shook hands and smiled and tried not to stare.
