"You're a very good little warrior," Setzer said. Seifer looked up at him, crossing his arms in front of him. He didn't like having to look up at him, but he wasn't about to back off. To make up for it, he drew himself up as tall as possible and tried to look tough. He felt more stupid than strong, doing that without Rai and Fuu behind him to back him up, but...
"What d'you want?" he asked, as belligerently as he was capable of. His jaw jutted out a little, the way it did when he was at his most stubborn. Setzer smiled a little.
"And very... cute, too."
Seifer's eyes narrowed. "Whatever you're on about, I'm not interested."
The man laughed. He reached out, putting a hand under Seifer's chin and tipping his head back a little more, looking down at him. "Look me up when you're older," he said, condescending and kind of creepy all at once. Seifer swatted Setzer's hand away, and figured now was one of those situations where it's totally okay to back up a few steps.
"You're fucking weird," he said, for a parting shot, and didn't stick around to beat Setzer for fucking laughing at him for saying it.
