You're laying beneath me, stretched out, your eyes closed. I lean down to kiss your neck, moving to push your jacket off, and you put a hand on mine, pushing it away. I ask you what's wrong. Whether you're just not in the mood or something. You don't say a word, acting just like you always used to. But back then I couldn't think of a way to make you respond, except to force you to fight me.
Now I know exactly how to make you respond.
I kiss you fiercely, and you barely respond, taking a deep, shuddering breath as I move my kisses down your neck, nipping not so gently, but not too hard. I hear the little hitches in your breath, the familiar, beautiful little hitches, and run my hands up under your shirt.
When I glance up, your eyes are tight shut still. You're biting your lip.
Seifer, you say, in a whisper, and then louder, and I sit up a little. You push my hands away and tell me to stop. I pull away, bewildered by the coldness in your eyes, but you aren't giving me any answers.
You tell me to go.
I ask when I can come back, and you say it, that horrible, horrible word. Never. I can't believe you've said it.
I get up slowly, but you still won't meet my eyes. You've finally taken the bait that I never thought you would touch. You finally... told me to stop. I wonder if it's anger, or shame, or what. But I daren't ask. Your face is so cold, so blank. It hurts.
I said I would stop, if you asked. I said I would leave, if you just said the word. But I never expected you to want me to.
You're breaking my heart.
