Summary: Barret certainly doesn't think of Cloud in those terms. Honest. For

Mostly, though, he's annoying because Barret keeps thinking of him, wondering about him. First he was wondering if he was good enough for Tifa, which turned into grudging admiration, and now --
Well, now...
The admiration isn't quite so grudging. That's all it is, he'd hasten to add -- admiration. Still, he finds himself watching Cloud fight, bereft of indecision and throwing himself into it, teeth gritted, face alight, alive, intense. It pisses him off when Tifa catches him staring at Cloud, and looks at him with a knowing look in her eyes. Hell, she looks at him even more, doesn't she?
What's there to know, anyway? Cloud's a good fighter -- but then, of course he is, previous experience taken into consideration -- and it's good to watch him, see his tricks. See his weaknesses too, know when to back him up, know when he's just run down enough to need a potion.
And he certainly never, ever thinks of him in any other terms.
