"Don't, Squall," Ellone said quietly, when he leaned in close, but even though her hands were on his chest, she wasn't pushing, and without even thinking she'd tilted her head, let him take a step closer. She could feel his breath on her face, warm and slow, and she didn't make an effort to step away when he leaned close still, when his lips touched hers. "Don't," she said, curling her fingers into fists in his shirt, and though he tried to pull away, she didn't let him.
