There's something between them that'll never change, even though now Squall's grown out of the old, restless, driving rivalry and Quistis has given up trying to tame him and make him a good boy. There's something between Seifer and Zell that connects them, binds them both to the past, the orphanage and fist fights Seifer always won, and the present where the odds are more even. It's something precious, something vital.
