There's something about this dress, there really is. It makes her feel -- well, bold, free, happier in some way just by wearing it. She has plenty of dresses, beautiful dresses, long dresses and short dresses, so there's nothing about this short-and-simple number that's out of the ordinary. Except -- well, except that this is the first dress that isn't daddy-approved, the first dress she chose all alone. It's the first real risk, the first time she knows that people might think she looks an idiot -- but she's sure they won't, she's chosen too well for that to happen.
