Will wants to hit him suddenly, almost as much as he wants to kiss him, and so the kiss is quick and brutal and suddenly an expression of everything forgotten and lost as well as everything he stands to gain. He wants to drive away that arrogance forever, burn it away in goodness and light and love. When he pulls back, Bran looks lost without the arrogance, his eyes softened and surprised.
