Sometimes, when she wakes from one of her dreams, she is lost. Infinite. Nothing is her and everything is, her world is in the past and in the present and trembling out in the great could be.
It's then that she most wants to be normal. When she'll get up in the middle of the night to drink coffee to make sure she doesn't accidentally slip sideways into another person's life, protecting herself from the total immersion in someone else's world: someone else's feelings, someone else's mind.
Sometimes, she craves the feeling, and the way it lets her pretend she's someone else.
