Leaning against the side of the ship, Cecil allows himself to relax into thought for a moment. The Red Wings are on their way to fight -- he doesn't understand why, but if the king commands, he goes. He doesn't have to think it right.
He hopes they'll give up the crystal quickly. He doesn't want to have to slaughter them, doesn't want any blood on his hands today. Especially when he doesn't understand the reason.
Crystals. At least they're a thing a man can understand wanting. Beautiful, perhaps, from all the fuss being made about them: powerful.
But still, it's not right.
